# tkGemini, a Python Gemini browser
The idea of this software is to navigate throught the Gemini network with a GUI. It tries to fit to [Gemini specifications](https://gemini.circumlunar.space/docs/specification.html) but there still work.
## What is Gemini
Gemini is a new protocol project. It wants to be an alternative to the Web and Gopher. This network is growing very fast and it is a wonderfull project.
